She has been practicing Vipassana meditation since 1980 with various teachers, including: Ven. Ajahn Sumedho, Joseph Goldstein, Christina Feldman. She has received many teachings in the Tibetan Mahayana tradition and feels particularly inspired by the compassion practices. She worked in her own practice for Hakomi Psychotherapy for ten years. She has been working as a meditation teacher since 1990 and is co-founder of the Beatenberg meditation center in the Bernese Alps.
