Orange single board computers are getting better as Raspberry Pi alternatives. One proof is that Home Assistant runs on the Raspberry Pi zero 3. Physiological sensors such as the Apple watch can be streamed into Home Assistant. And if Home Assistant runs on the Rasberry Pi zero 3, we suppose that also software which is specialized for physiological sensors runs on it as well, since this software is very similar:

There is also an armbian image with Home Assistant available for the Orange Pi zero 2 w:
The Orange Pi zero 2 w is very similar to the Orange Pi zero 3. And if something runs on the Orange Pi zero 3 it is worth testing if it runs also on the Orange Pi zero 2 w. Our favorate Orange single board computer is the Orange zero 2 w. It is small and a great Raspberry Pi zero 2 alternative. But we do not know of any tests yet for Home Assistant on the Orange Pi zero 2 w.
