Artur Czastkiewicz was born in Lubaczow/Poland in 1981.
He studied theology and philosophy at the Catholic University of John Paul II in Lublin and graduated with a master’s degree in theology.
In his master’s thesis he deals with data protection of the Catholic Church in the canton of Zurich.
This was followed by further studies in biblical theology at the University of Friborg Switzerland.

His tasks also included pastoral care for the scientists working at CERN

In 2011 he completed another master’s degree in canon law at the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin.
