We can only speek four ourselves. Stryd foot pods seem to be the most attractive for Stryd, and and optical heart rate watches the most attractive for Apple and Rob ter Horst.
But unfortunately, these devices are not very helpful to us personally as quantitative scientists and physiologists. What is helpful to us personally are numerical and statistical data about the accuracy of these devices in journals which are helpful for medical doctors and physiologists, to use those for instance to study the effect of walking meditation and breath meditation on physiology,
Since we do not find anywhere numerical and statistical data about the accuracy of Apple watches and Stryd foot pods in journals which are helpful for medical doctors and physiologists, we suppose that no one wants to publish these data in high quality journal which are suitable for the purpose we have described, to use those as sensors to do physiological research and clinical studies.
Since we did not find anywhere these numerical and statistical data we are looking for published in journals which we are looking for, we suppose that these devices are not very accurate, and therefore not very helpful for our purpose.
