would according to our hypothesis result in the finding that optical heart rate monitors as well as chest straps reach an accuracy limit which cannot be increased anymore. Only 3 channel ECG device such as OpenBCI ECG can do this.
Therefore it would be interesting to compare a 3 channel OpenBCI ECG to a research or medical grade device on a treadmill with the described protocol or the Bruce protocol, to find out if medical or research grade ECG devices can be replaced by an 3 channel OpenBCI device which costs much less for the described protocol.
