A big issue products have which are based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments – marketing trusts and stock market speculation – how can these issues be resolved?

Which developer at the level of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich, Switzerland builds his development onto a product from which he does not know if he is member of a marketing trusts and does stock market speculation?

We observed stable prizes with:

  • products from www.OpenBCI.com
  • Adam Feuers HackEEG
  • g.tec medical has stable but very high prizes

Products with unstable prizes and availablity where:

  • OpenBCI modules sold on eBay and Aliexpress
  • HackEEG is not availalbe anymore
  • PiEEG is not available anymore

There where as far as we know projects developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich, Switzerland which where based on products from www.OpenBCI.com. But according to our own litte experience, products based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments need a strong competitor, as for instance products based on the ADS1115, TGAM modules and InfluxDB:

to be successful so as they are used at research institutes of the highest level such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich, Switzerland, even for student projects. Since which students buys products with the mentioned issues? Only those who have not read our journal.
