What sometimes upsets us about Tibetan Buddhists

That they do not decide their fate themselves. The 14th Dalai Lama did not decide himself to become the 14th Dalai Lama. Other decided this for him. He once said analogously, if he would follow his nature we would retreat like like an injured deer. But it is his own decision not to retreat and not to emigrate.

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche lived in solitary retreat from the age of fifteen until he was twenty-eight, he spent his time meditating in silent retreat. When he told his teacher Dzongsar Khyentse Chokyi Lodro that he wanted to spend the rest of his life in solitary retreats, Chokyi Lodro answered, “The time has come for you to teach and transmit to others the precious teachings you have received.”

Why did ye not decide himself? Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche comes from a wealthy family, which eventually would have supported him on this path. We do not know this, and we do not understand these family, this social and this religious structures.

Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga emigrated 1968 to Toronto and then to the United States. He was forced to do something he did not wanted to do in Punjab, India. The Soviets wanted to force him. Did it have to do something with his religion? Yogi Bhajan was a religious Sikh, and later on founded the Sikh Darma International in the United States.

By the age of 16, Yogiji was declared a master of Kundalini Yoga in his native land of Punjab, India. In 1968, at the age of 39, he left behind family, friends and a successful career to answer his calling to bring the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma to the shores of America and beyond

The obstacles for the Soviet Union in India were the Sikhs because of their resistance against Soviet policies towards religion:

Yogi Bhajan emigrated because the Soviets wanted to force him to do something he did not wanted to do (this is taken from our memory).

Unfortunately, we cannot find the source anymore where the reason for his emigration was written. Someone must have deleted this from all sources we checked. Was it someone who did not wanted to read this in the web?

Was it someone like William Croft from OpenBCI who wants to control the whole web?

Yogi Bhajan emigrated to the US, and founded his own school, and his own organization, and spent the rest of his life in the US.
