Neurosity Crown is a 8 channel EEG device with fast WIFI transmission, and an EEG headband with EEG electrodes placed at the forehead and EEG electrodes placed at the back of the head
If researchers are interested in Gamma waves in the left prefrontal cortex, as for instance Dr. Richard J. Davidson at the at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and also the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS), the Neurosity Crown device is not the best choice to study Gamma waves in the left prefrontal cortex.
The Neurosity Crown is the only consumer grade EEG device we know with a fast WIFI transmission, which makes the device suitable to study fast gamma waves. Unfortunately, the Neurosity Crown does not allow to connect external EEG headbands or EEG caps, which would be more suitable than the Neurosity headband to study Gamma waves in the left prefrontal cortex.
