The problem is the lack of good accuracy studies for these devices. Furthermore, 3 lead ECG devices are more accurate than optical heart rate watches like the Apple watch.
We suggest to buy a 3 lead ECG device for HRM measurements with a good ECG toolbox, for cardiologists and physiologists who use it for their applications, and do not use it for runs which are faster than 15 km/h on the treadmill.
