BITalino ECG with LSL or AD8232 ECG with ESP32 and Home Assistant /InfluxDB?

  • BITtalino is 10 to 12 bit A/D conversion
  • research grade would be 16 bit A/D
  • BITalino has a validation paper in Sensors, Basel:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34209063/

  • BITalino has a LSL interface:
  • but we do not know of anyone who uses it.
  • LSL is not optimal for Home Assistant/InfluxDB, MQTT is better supported for these platforms

Sooner or later, sensors which are attached to Home Assistant/InfluxDB, or offer examples how to connect those to these platforms, will become our first choice, since InfluxDB allows to compare different sensors and timestamps are synchronized, which makes sensor data analysis easy.
