Criticism about the EEG cap used by scientists making animal tests with OpenBCI

The cap is sold on Aliexress for 230 USD in a store from which we do not know who he is and where he is located.

Also the picture which shows the example picture with the cap, who are these scientists, why is their work not published in a high quality scientific journal, and why is not taken over by an EEG cap seller like Bitalino and www.OpenBCI.com? Is it just another product which has given up and is sold on Aliexpress for 230 USD? An amount of money which some people are tempted to spend to try it out and then through it away, since it is something wrong with it?

If you are at the level of a Swiss quality product or at the level of a research project of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, be careful with EEG caps which are sold on Aliexpress. It might end up in a review in another post on another WordPress site, and is published on a WordPress site, and not in a high quality scientific paper.

After the many EEG caps we reviewed in our journal, we will go back the instruction from BITalino how to build an EEG cap from scratch:

As we said before, we can build such a cap also from non BITalino products. And is the instruction taken over from another instruction and no reference is given to the original instruction? We don’t know, we didn’t find any BITalino copyright either. And we acknowledge also Hugo Plácido da Silva for the instruction from BITalino how to build an EEG cap.
