The money which was used in the animal experiments of the scientists which use OpenBCI does not look very happy:
For a monkey, it is very uncomfortable to sit in such a plastic box. Animal experiments need a permit, but not those done with OpenBCI. But such boxes usually are used also by scientists who do animal experiments which need a permit.
The EEG cap which we discuss here which is sold by an Aliexpress seller is not sold by the developers of the EEG cap themselves, and we do not know anything about the scientists who use these caps, their experiments, and what they do. And we do not know anything about the seller of the EEG caps as well.
We suggest to build EEG devices and EEG caps as much as possible from single components yourself.
