Easiest open source optical heart rate monitor which can be connected to Home Assistant?

Here we have a YouTube video from RobShala from India using the DF robot gravitiy optical heart rate sensor with Node MCU:

• in which he connects it to the Blink IoT Android application.

• He installs some of the libraries to his Arduino

• he uses the DF Robot heart rate library

• and a 5 volt power supply

• he shows an example which shows the heart rate without needing a PPG or ECG toolbox

• we have shown in our journal, that ESP32 can easily be connected to Home Assistant.
