- Nobody has confirmed that the Xiaomi treadmill Home Assistant works:
- but there is code available to control Xiaomi treadmills from a PC. If we can control the speed of a Xiaomi treadmill in Home Assistant, it is highly desirable, that we can also calibrate the speed, and have a sensor which measure whether the speed is correct.
- The best treadmill sensor which we know are reviewed here:
- We can calibrate theses sensors, which is discussed on this site, and we can connect these sensors as foot pods to the Android app a Training tracker from Rainer Blind. A Training tracker data can be synchronized to Strava and from there to Home Assistant and InfluxDB. There is an instruction for Strava and Home Assistant on Youtube, but the instruction is currently available only in Spanish:
- and we do not know of any users who confirm that this works.
