- we suppose it is based on a sensor belt which is highly sensitive
- we have seen the sensor belt on Alibaba and Aliexpress several times
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003212843492.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.202b38daEX5QV0&mp=1
- there was a demo video of someone doing experiments with it
- it is so sensitive, that is shows a graph of respiration movements and of heart rate in real time (in the HappySleep app)
- the signal quality of respiration and heart rate is excellent
- we never have seen before a sensor belt which registers heart beat and respiration movement.
- It seem to be something which is new and little developed
- It has the potential to be better than other sleep trackers
- But we have no data about it s accuracy
- Eventually a combination of several sensors could be more effective for sleep tracking, for instance sensor belt in combination with EEG
- we suppose the Biosignals Respiban Professional is based on this sensor belt
- The sensor belt uses the HappySleep Android app
- the App collects a number of data which can be synchronized to Apple Health
- If we are practicing breath meditation, the HappySleep app says we are sleeping
- but the sensor belt is highly sensitive
- we asked Rob ter Hort to test it, unfortunately without success
- it can be found on Aliexpress for 104 USD:
