Where are there follow-up projects at Universities that are worth mentioning? What I personally find noteworthy is that Diego Hangartner, an ETH pharmacologist and meditation expert from Switzerland, says on the Swiss meditation scene YouTube channel, “We don’t have any devices” for meditation.
Diego Hangartner has been participating in these scientific studies, which are conducted with brain scanners, for around 20 years. And me, who has followed these studies for 20 years, I also don’t have any devices which are woth mentioning as a scientist.
However, devices that are worth mentioning are the Schiller CS 200 treadmill, which is used in Cardiac Clinics for stress measurement. And the g.Nautilus Multi-Purpose EEG Headset, which can quantify gamma waves. This has already being done for research purposes. For example, regarding the approval of Psilocybin in Switzerland. There, the brainwaves of meditators were compared to those of test subjects who ingested Psilocybin. However, I don’t know how practical the g.Nautilus Multi-Purpose EEG Headset is for everyday meditation. ETH pharmacologist and meditation expert Diego Hangartner said that for him, it’s about self-experience. And he doesn’t own any devices and doesn’t use any for meditation. And do we not learn more about self-experience through meditation from Jesus Christ and Milarepa, than from Richard R. Davidson?
Another person I can follow, and have followed, is Lama Pema Wangyal from the Drukpa Center Kollbrunn. Recently, I followed him to the Volkshaus in Zurich. And to my dismay, there were people sitting in the front row wearing white sneakers. But otherwise, did Lama Pema Wangyal not differ much from a Catholic priest at a Catholic festival? Does Lama Pema Wangyal not only miss a Christian cross on his chest, and then he could also teach at Catholic Festivals?
And I also followed the Jews into a Synagogue near the Manesse Square in the City of Zurich. There were lots of Jews wearing black hats where sitting there, when they invited me into their Synagogue last year. But I won’t follow them there again, if they continue to make jokes about me.
