A Smart Database for Physiolocial Sensors

  • Who wants his physiological data scattered on different Android apps or on several clouds?

We are now able to stream in the Apple Watch to Home Assistant, InfluxDB & Grafana:

  • We can connect a foot pod to the Apple watch, so we have heart rate and accurate data for walking meditation in our Home Assistant platform.

We can connect the Polar Sensor Logger app over MQTT to Home Assistant, InlfuxDB & Grafana:

  • to connect the Polar H10 chest strap to our Home Assistant platform. From the Polar H10 chest strap, we get R-R peak data, which can be used to calculate an accurate respiration rate.
  • As mediators, we are unhappy without brain data, so we need brain data in Home Assistant. There was at least one paper which hat one channel of EEG in Home Assistant. But only one channel over MQTT? We need more channels to get an excellent Alpha wave signal, for instance 8 channels.

We can connect OpenBCI to Home Assistant over LabStreamingLayer

Everything Smart Home becomes Everything Smart Physiology.
