- Many temperature sensors are incaccurate, for instance the Garmin TEMPE
- the TEMPE sensors which can be connected to Home Assistant can or must be calibrated to be accurate
- respiration rate from Garmin watches need to be calibrated as well, since the signal is not accurate
- but how to get an accurate temperature signal?
- Weather channels give temperature information which is +- 1 degree
- For a better accuracy, we can try a device like this one:
- which measures temperature with 12 laser points
- this still does not mean that the measurement has to be accurate
- if necessary, choose a high-quality temperature measurement device for calibration
