Milarepa (1040- 1123) was the founder of the Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He is also considered to be Tibet’s greatest poet. Milarepa lived in solidary retreat for many years of his life, including long periods at the foot of Mount Kailash. According to legend, he only wore a cotton shirt in cold Tibet because he mastered the Yoga of Inner Heat (Tummo) taken from Wikipedia.
- Milarepa is the founder of the Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Sadhuguru teaches about the life of Milarepa. Whe could not find teaching of Sadhguru about Richard Davidson.
- Even if Richard Davidson findings are scientific findings about meditation, the knowledge which we receive from spiritual masters like Milarepa, who liberated themselves from suffering might be more helpful to us than Richard Davidsons teaching.
