- The result was a paper published in PLOS ONE, which is a low-level journal. Is the result of this study satisfying for the Research Institute from India and the rest of the world?
- The question was which one of the Three Different Meditation Traditions would be the most effective one?
- But is it easy to give this answer with EEG studies?

But who is actually continuing to do research in this field, for instance to compare different meditation practices with EEG studies to find out about their effectiveness?
The Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama is part of the AHYMSIN School of Yoga and Meditation
AHYMSIN teachers travel internationally to teach yoga meditation at affiliated centers. Currently, AHYMSIN has 48 affiliated centers in 23 countries and 76 partner centers in 32 countries.
The Meditation Research Institute in Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama, India used expensive EEG equipment:
- Bio-Semi 256 Channel EEG recording and analyzing system supported by EEGLAB and MATLAB software, but they used only 64 + 8 Channels:

- The costs for a 256-channel BioSemi biopotential measurement system (ActiveTwo only) is approximately €76,000 for a complete system.
- But we do not know if this equipment was bought by the research insitute from India, or if these EEG devices where demo devices.
