would like to thank Rob ter Horst for scientifically testing the accuracy of smartwatches:

Does he not do this job especially for the MRIS? And the MRIS did the best we can to free Rob from something that only a scientist like Rob ter Horst do, and that is to test smartwatch accuracy. So we wrote our review about this topic:

090. Review of Accuracy Studies of Consumer Grade Heart Rate Monitors: Methods, Testing Protocols, Reference Devices

We came to the conclusion that smartwatches are basically only suitable for scientists like Rob ter Horst, and for no other scientist else. And we hope this conclusion will have a break-through sooner or later, so that Rob ter Horst becomes free from testing smartwatch accuracy scientifically. So that he can do something really serious, as for instance start projects about meditation research. These projects currently lack of scientists who perform those. And the MRIS in particular lacks of equipment really serious scientists need to do really serious research about meditation.

But we believe the future of meditation research is bright, and we hope that Rob ter Horst will join us sooner or later with equipment at the highest scientific level.
