According to Sadhguru, enlightenment is not something you can miss. It is an experience that is clearer than daylight:
according to Science Journalist Daniel Goleman, enlightenment is a state which is not like our ordinary state, and has something to do with gamma waves in our brain:
According to neuroscientist Richard Davidson Mingyur Rinpoche had large and highly synchronized gamma waves when they tested his brain:
But what does Mingyur Rinpoche say about these scientific studies about meditation?
Does he not joke about those studies? (second part of the video).
So to come back to our question: How to recognize an enlightened being? Are the enlightened beings those who joke about scientific studies about enlightenment? What is your opinion about this topic? Write it in the comments below.
And Peter Gamma, the Director of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS)

is asking. Enlightenment is the goal of Buddhist meditation practice since 2500 years. And if enlightenment could be measured and quantified by brain scanners, would not the Buddhist be the first to know about it, to support it, and to use it? But where are those people?
So therefore is enlightenment not still a subjective experience which is clearer than daylight for some, but something which is difficult to measure and quantify with brain scanners?
