For Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org, Director of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS)

thinks that the issue of meditation research in the year 2025 is, that meditation researchers such as Richard R. Davidson do not listen enough to spiritual teachers such as Yogi Bhajan:

A quote from Yogi Bhajan is basically:
„ A yogi should gain control over his breath, and then should be completely silent, and consider every word he says, to be the master of his destiny“
This quote is very important for Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org after what happened in Zurich today:
Yogi Bhajan was also the founder of the Kundalini Research Institute. This research institute has made a library of the teachings of Kundalini Yoga with around 20 000 teachings. But who wants to investigate 20 000 teachings scientifically? And we think this open question is also the end of research about Kundalini Yoga.
Osho basically said:
There is no need to investigate all kinds of meditation. Only one is enough, and that is watching the breath.
Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org agrees with Osho. But for physiologists like Peter, also walking meditation is interesting to investigate.
So for meditation researchers such as Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org, it is interesting in the year 2025 to investigate and control the breath rate, which should be in the physiological range between 12 – 20 breath per minute at rest. And this currently can be measured the best with a spirometer. And next to is is the step rate, and how at a constant walking meditation speed, the heart rate and the breath rate changes over time.
And for Peter there is currently only one device he knows which can measure this in a convincing way, and that is the Schiller CS 200 treadmill:
Which is one of the view devices recommended by Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org in the year 2025 for meditation researchers.
It is a real Swiss quality product. And it has price which is also very Swiss, and that is more than 20 000 USD at the most advanced configuration. And is this not a bit expensive for our home lab?
These are according to Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org the issues of meditation research in the year 2025.
And what Richard R. Davidson said a view years ago on Landguet Ried in Bern Switzerland:
are the words of a meditation researcher who uses brain scanners for his studies.
But nobody could convince Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org up to the present day that brain scanners are really helpful for their daily medatiation practice. Especially for those who learned from great spiritual masters such as Yogi Bhajan.
Yogi Bhajan emigrated from India/Pakistan, since people there wanted to force him to do something he did not wanted to do. And emigrate will eventually also Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org and the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) after what happened today in Zürich:
Since people at the place where he lives seem to want to force him to do something he does not want to do, and that is to go to the Police for those. And Peter will only discuss this with the “Mieterverband der Stadt Zürich” the “Beobachter” magazine, the “Nebelspalter” magazine, his lawyer, the Liegenschaftenverwaltung der Stadt Zürich, the media & the newspapers, and with no one else.
And as a final remark, Peter knows only of one quote of Yogi Bhajan which was really controversial, and that is:
“Rape is always invited. It never Happens.”
Sadhguru said about this topic:
„enlightenment means you are an unblemished life“
And that one quote of Yogi Bhajan made of him a man which was not enlightened, since this phrase brought him to live a life which was not unblemished.
