But the Pinephone has been given up by Peter. And Peters Android phone solution is a bit complicated:
But once it is connected, we have an Android phone which has:
- an ethernet adapter
- a card reader which allows to read and write on it
- a plug which allows to charge the phone
if you search for such an adapter. Look for an adapter which looks like this on Aliexpress:
This asapter is complcated but it works. And it has the size of an Android phone. It can be sticked on the back of the phone. Then we can connect the adapter over usb-c. When Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org connects his Google Pixel 6 a Pro to this adapter over usb-c, ethernet, SD card reader, and charging over usb-c works which is great.
