But now he found out when he uses this instruction:
with an ethernet adapter for his android phone, he always has to plug the Android phone over usb to the Ubuntu PC
then type:
- adb tcpip 5555
- remove usb cable
- and then connect the Android ethernet adapter
- then type: adb connect 192.168.1.101:5555
- scrcpy
This is rather complicated. But it is the only solution we found which works. Peter has an adapter for his android phone which has ethernet, a plug to charge the phone, and an SD card reader. This makes the Android phone very comfortable to use. It has almost features as a Pinephone.
But since it is rather complicated, such instruction bring other options such as Raspberry Pis closer to be Peters next smartphone:
