Because Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org was treated unfair by phone companies. For instance Peter worked for around a month every day a bit on installing LibreOffice on the Pinephone:

He spent only little time with it each day. Not enough to make out of him an IT apprentice. And only to find out that LibreOffice on the Pinephone does not fit for his needs. Is this not unfair? And the reason he did this because Android made me suffer and he could not do anything to solve this problem with with Android. But now around 3 years later, he found a solution with Android again:
Only to find the next trap of Google Inc. and that is the Google Pixel 6 in his solution. So Peters next phone must be a fair phone.
