The solution for the problem I had with my smartphone since 10 years

It is also the end of the Pinephone for Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org.

Peter Gamma needs a privacy phone. Is the Police observing him?

https://petergamma.org/category/legal-affairs-in-switzerland

But since Peter Gamma does not something which is illegal, there is nothing which would be worth for the Police to observe about him. Peter made this clear several times. But since the job adviser who lives in the house regularly goes up to the screed which is above Peters flat, and seems to listen what he does in his flat, the question arises: Is the Police behind this investigation?

So Peter needs a privacy phone. He used his Pinephone two or three times, but then it crashed several times. He reported about this. He had to re-enter date and time, which is really time consuming.

Now Peter got to work his Google Pixel 6 Pro with GrapheneOS today. The Ricardo Switzerland seller has already flashed GrapheneOS on it for Peter which is great. The Google Pixel 6 a Pro Peter bought on Ricardo to flash iodéOS is not usable since the woman who sold it to Peter forgot to give him the PIN for the phone.

Peter has tested now scrpy with an ethernet adapter to remotely control a Google Pixel 6 Pro with Softmaker on it to remotely control it from his Windows PC. Since Softmaker for Android has the full desktop functionality of LibreOffice desktop this is a great solution.

And today, Peter managed to get this to work also with his Ubuntu PC. Since the latest spy technology from Microsoft:

Peter definitely will change to a Ubuntu PC and will not use Windows 11. And today Peter also managed to get scrcpy to work with his Ubuntu PC, an ethernet adapter and an ethernet cable:

Peter could reproduce this solution several times, and it worked every time. But it always took several steps and it is time consuming. And it is not yet so straight forward. But I think will work.

And if the Police reads this text: No Peter does not have the skills of a an IT apprentice. What Peter writes here is knowledge and experience from around 10 years. And he only spent very little time each day on it with very long time gabs in between.

But after all Peter believes it was hard work (in his spare time and it was not no fun). But it feels as he made a PhD. to bring back the functionality he had before Google Inc. started screwing around his Android phone.

The last Android phone Peter was happy with was a Samsung Galaxy S5 which was released in April 2014. And then Google started screwing around on it.

And now there seems to be no barrier anymore that Peters Google Pixel 6 Pro can do anything Peter wants to to with the phone. What the Pinephone promised to do, the Pixel can do now.

But one issue remains : has it really to be a phone from Google Inc. which can to anything? Since this setup makes Peter hope for the best but expect the worst.

But what I want to share here is the experience that the Pinephone really seems to be dead for Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org. Since everything he wanted to do with the Pinephone he can do now with his Google Pixel 6 Pro and a suitable custom ROM. But it feels as if this would be another trap from Google Inc., and Peter will look for a phone which is not from Google as soon as possible. Since what he describes here does also work with other phones.
