One project which would be interesting is to have synched the BLE sensor data from a BLE sensor to a Linux AsteroidOS sports watch and from there to the Linux PinePhone:

There is a synchronization app which syncs data from the Linux PinePhone to Linux AsteroidOS smartwatches:
«A synchronization app for Ubuntu Touch named Telescope has been started by the AsteroidOS community. This app tries to re-use as much code from Starfish as possible so some of their codes is shared in a daemon named asteroidsyncservice which uses libasteroid. this app is compatible with the Linux PinePhone:

to sync data for instance from the Huawei 2 GPS to the Linux PinePhone. This app could be modified to synch for instance heart rate and other sensor data from a BLE sensor to the Linux PinePhone and from there to the web. This setup is similar to the setup used by Garmin with their sensor stream from the Garmin watch to the Garmin connect app and from there to the web.
Garmin and THIS IS ANT devices are strongly controlled by GARMIN and THIS IS ANT. An open source alternative to this setup would be highly desirable.
I am a physiologist, and my coding skills are very limited, and I have no plans to make this project a reality. But If someone else is interested in this project, I am sharing here all the information I have gathered for such a project.
