Current Research Projects at the Meditation Reserach Institute Switzerland (MRIS)

Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org

deeply regrets that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and his followers have left Switzerland. And with Maharishi also the BIOSEMI amplifiers Maharishi has bought for $80,000 USD have left Switzerland and are not available anymore for Meditation Research Projects:

So Peter Gamma and the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) will continue to do research with the Garmin Fenix 6:

until Peter finds a better solution. And indeed, Peter already found a better solution, and this is the Garmin Forerunner 230 programmed to vibrate every minute. When counting breath manually, the breath per minute is more accurate than with the Garmin Fenix 6.

One of the future devices Peter will buy for his lab will be a 3 channel ECG device, which is the REAL gold standard in science for heart rate measurements. And hopefully, he will never come back to the Polar H10:

the Polar OH1 and the Verity Sense, and criticism about Rob ter Horst which did not bear much fruits. And Peter has also plans to buy a curved treadmill for his lab.

He did a first test with such a device in a fitness center near where he lives today. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy as compared to the Newgen Medical ultra-compact treadmill, non-slip running surface he currently uses for walking meditation. Peter is currently challenged in his home lab by neighours below him and on the left side of him. And sometimes a neighbour also goes to the screed to challenge him from above.

How crazy people have become in Switzerland?

And Peter is scared to be challenged even more with a noisy treadmill. The noise of the curved treadmill was mainly caused by the shoes. And other shoes eventually can solve this problem. These are the current challenges of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS). But does the MRIS not stand out compared to the Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama in India as far as continuity of research projects is concerned? Where is this continuity in India? On the contrast, Peter Gamma and the MRIS will keep up this continuity until Peters final breath.

And when Peter compares the the soft voice of Dr. Fred Travis, neuroscientist & Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness & Cognition Research at the Maharishi University, Fairfield:

to the hard voice of the most famous molecular Biologist of Switzerland Charles Weissmann:

then Peter knows exactly why he has left the labs of Charles Weissman 30 years ago in Zurich.

Does the voice of Dr. Fred Travis not sound much better than the voice of Charles Weissmann, and eventually much healthier? And is what Dr. Fred Travis says not much more interesting than interferon, medication against hair cell leukemia, and prions extracted from mouse brains? And why was Charles Weissmann doing all of this? To be finally able to buy a tailor made suit to wear it for interviews on TV? Or to pay the rent for his huge villa on mountain of Zurich?
