A poster in the PiEEG forum asked a question about Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W + PIEEG:
The answer of the PiEEG support“
„Hi Piort, thank you for your message. To be honest I didn’t test with Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, if it has the same GPIO outputs for Power and SPI then I expect will work. Only software will be need implement in C language, it looks like there is not enough power for Python to work in real-time“
But we do not know of difference in power delivery between a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 and the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. And is it not strange, that PiEEG should only work with C language, but not with Python in this context?
Similar questions came up when Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org asked a question about PiEEG in the PiEEG forum. Does the PiEEG support also want Peter to stop posting?:
We do not know of independent testers who would confirm that PiEEG works without issues. On the contrary, there are rumours that PiEEG is an abandonned prototype which is noisy.
A similar question came also up in the EEVBLOG where we asked question about the “TI ADS1299 EEG demo kit“. Also there the same question of Peter. Do EEVBLOG poster want to make Peter stop posting?
And this question comes up notoriously if it is a forum about products based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments.
Is there someone who tries us to force to buy products from www.openbci.com, which are one of the view products based on the ADS1299 which are confirmed by independent testers that they work without issues (next to the Neurosity Crown and OpenBCI Galea)? All of these products are expensive. And we did not find affordable alternatives which work without issues, altough we where looking for those for several years. And if the answer to our open questions is „yes“, is this not a reason to change to a solution based on InfluxDB as soon as possible?
