With around 8,000 people, Switzerland has the most Tibetans who live in exile after India, Nepal and the USA. We suppose this could be the reason that the Dalai Lama comes to Switzerland. The Hallenstadium Zurich where the Dalai Lama will speak at the end of August 2024 has 15 000 seats. So next to all the Tibetans who live in Switzerland there are 7 000 places left for Swiss people.
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org first learned about the Dalai Lama 20 years ago in the Hallenstadium Zurich. He was there with a group of Kundalini Yoga teachers. And when he heard the Dalai Lama there speaking for the first time, Peter Gamma asked himself, why is the Dalai Lama such a happy person? Now, 20 years later he has found about it. But he has learned more from Tibetan Buddhism than from Richard R. Davidson about these things.
Tickets for the Dalai Lama in Zurich are sold out. But there are still some available from a scalper on Ricardo Switzerland for 165 FR

The Dalai Lama is 89 old now, and he is still able to fill the Hallenstadium Zurich with people. The Hallenstadion Zurich has 15 000 seats. Shortly after the visit of the Dalai Lama has been announced it was sold out. Is this not absolutely extraordinary?
