Why are prices for Texas Instruments ADS1299 EEG boards on Aliexpress increased by a factor of 8.5 over the last for 4 years?

Last Updated on July 12, 2024 by pg@petergamma.org

Because Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org wrote reviews about ADS1299 EEG products over the last four years?

The mentioned board on Aliexpress was the last ADS1299 EEG product we gave positive about. WE hoped that someone picks it up and uses it and test it. And not that the price simply because of this positive feedback from Peter Gamma of www.petergamma.org was increased from around 1 000 USD to around 5 000 US???!!!!

We suppose this is the same price as mBrainTrain 32 channel boards we always gave negative feedback about.l

A Texas Instruments ADS1299 EEG board which as far as we know now independend tester has ever bought or tested:

In the EEVBLOG, you find countless advisers for ADS1299 EEG products:

Are these countless Texas Instruments EEG product adviser in the EEVBLOG the cause for such price increases who want to profit of it?

Texas Instruments product sellers give the advice, physiologist Peter Gamma from Switzerland write the reviews about it and does the work, and the Texas Instruments product sellers make the money out of it?

Not with Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org.

Because of these and other negative experiences with Texas Instruments ADS1299 EEG products, whe change to products which are based on InfluxDB as soon as possible.
