Pinephone enthousiast Rob Braxman says “time to dump the Raspberry Pi” – certainly not:
It is time to dump the Pinephone!
The qualification of Pinephone developer Martijn Braam is: «I do computer stuff»

And even Martijn Braam left Pine64:

In contrast the qualification of Raspberry Pi developer Eben Upton is:
Upton completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Engineering in 1999 at the University of Cambridge where he was an undergraduate student at St John’s College, Cambridge. He went on to do the Cambridge Diploma in Computer Science graduating in 2001.[16] After his diploma, Upton was a research student in the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge.[17] After finishing his PhD degree, he earned an MBA at the Cambridge Judge Business School[18] while working in industry.
Eben Christopher Upton CBE FREng DFBCS [4][5] (born 5 April 1978) is the Welsh CEO of Raspberry Pi (Trading) Ltd., which runs the engineering and trading activities of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.[6][7][8][9] He is responsible for the overall software and hardware architecture of the Raspberry Pi device.[10][11][12] He is a former technical director and ASIC architect for Broadcom.[13]
And currently the Raspberry Pi 4 is free from stock market speculation and sculping. The Raspberrry Pi is 10 years ahead to the Pinephone as far as software and hardware is concerned. And the Pi is developed by develpers at the university level, and not developed by people who “do computer stuff”.
Physiologist Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org has lost a lot of time with the Pinephone:
So Peter Gamma says: it is time to dump the Pinephone! The Raspberry Pi 4 is the better solution for many of us.
