Switzerland is a rich country, and for instance Zurich is a rich man’s city. And therefore cannot every wish of a meditator who lives in Zurich can come true instantly? And are people in Zurich not very busy, work horses and have never time to meditate? But are they unhappy, suffer and never smile because of that?

Recently Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org walked along the lake of Zurich:

And then he heard two tourists from a foreign country talk to each other and say:

«People in Zurich are strange, they don’t smile»

So are the people who live in Zurich superficial and short-sighted money makers who don’t smile ? What do you think about this topic? Write it in the comments below.

But Zurich is also a center for spirituality, or was a such at least in the past. Zurich became a center of the Calvinist-Reformed world in the 16th century thanks to the work of Heinrich Bullinger:

And was Jesus strange as well? Did you ever see Jesus smiling? No. But was he strange bedause of that? Was he not always very serious? Did he ever joke?

No, his goal was very serious, his goal was heaven. And was his goal not basically also to have a good heart, and to free all beings from mental and physical suffering, as we discussed previously on www.petergamma.org.
