He was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 (peripheral T-cell lymphoma,(PTCL-NOS). He He began treatments in 2018 including, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and he had an autologous bone marrow transplant in 2019. In January 2024 he reported that there is no evidence of additional progression at this time. Scott feels like he is back on track for a full recovery. The April 2024 marks the 5 year anniversary of his bone marrow transplant. And if he gets to that point without evidence of further progression, he will be happy to consider himself cancer free.
