- Then moved to Gainesville for dental school in 2009.
- Scott entered the DMD/PhD program and completed dental school while earning a PhD in the field of Neuroscience.
- As a scientist with academic and clinical training, Scott now uses advanced electrophysiological and optical techniques to characterize novel signaling pathways in the brain.
