- A Center of Healthy Minds in Madison in the USA where 100 people work to do research on meditation?
- Is this not hard to believe? How can this be funded?
- Was the title «Center of Healty Minds» not choosen inspired by the Dalai Lama the 14 th. who often speaks about how to get a healthy mind by practicing meditation?
- But 100 researchers who do research on meditation in Madison USA? Again how can this be funded?
- And similarly for Laghsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich. How is a Meditation Center in the heart of Zurich funded, in Zurich where rends are very high?
- And hardy any visitors can bee seen who are in the weekly courses if we look at the YouTube videos which where recorded there on the YouTube channel of Laghsam.
- And how much does it cost to go to Laghsam? We do not know this.
- And can Laghsam be funded from selling tickets? This is hard to believe.
- If we look at the changes of the faces of people from which we suppose that they meditated assisted by brain scanners:
https://petergamma.org/category/potential-secret-meditation-research-project
- Are there not obvious changes in their faces which can be clearly recognized. And how can this be explained?
For instance Peter H. Charlton from the King’s Colleague in London:
Does Peter H. Charlton not look completely different on the second picture? But who can this be explained? By practicing meditation with the Matlab Respiratory Rate Estimation Toolbox? Or by practicing meditation assisted by a brain scanner? What is your opinion about this topic? Write it in the comments below.
And similarly with other people. What did cause the change in their faces? The effect of the courses which are offered at the Center of Healthy Minds in Madison USA? Or by the effect of the courses given at Laghsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich?
Isn’t it more likely that these two centers are a camouflage for rich meditators who can afford to meditate assisted by brain scanners? Or are these scientific studies which are privately funded? Or eventually also publicly funded? But we do not know of such public funds to do research on meditation assisted by brain scanners.
Peter Gamma does not want to devalue rich people. And we do not want to doubt about the people who go into the centers we mentioned on this site. We do not want to doubt that they are serious practitioners of meditation, if they are meditators. But are there already new treatements available to practice meditation assisted by a brain scanner?
And are these treatements not publicly available? For instance from studies about the effect of Psilocibin we know of onging studes, which are for instance funded by the mind foundation:
But we do not know of scientifc studies about brain scanners and meditation which are available for everyone and are published in scientific papers, or ongoing scientific studies with this research topic.
