Is there someone who still takes the OpenBCI Galea serious after this presentation whe discussed here ?

But what we still take serious are the high costs of OpenBCI Cyton of 1 000 USD, an EEG products from which Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org still does not know of an affordable alternative which is available, stable on the market and reliable, after reviewing about this topic for about 3 years, and reviewing about around 3 – 4 alternatives, which are not real competitors to OpenBCI Cyton for personally.
The most interesting alternative is to build a new device from scratch as an alternative to OpenBCI Cyton which is not based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from instruments:
