Was Matthieu Ricard’s, (Buddhist monk with a PhD. in Cellular Genetics (age 78)) meditation practice effective?: is he still an «olympic level meditator» in the year 2024?

He was one of the «olympic level meditators» which where investigated in this paper which was published in PNAS in 2004:

Goleman called these mediators “olympic level meditators” with “extraordinary brain waves”.

Is Matthieu Ricard still an olympic level meditator in the year 2024? In a more recent interview, Ricard says he meditates 20 min. a day. Is this enough as a daily practice? What is your opinion about this topic? Write it in the comments below.
