Richard Davidsons PNAS paper from 2004 about meditation: a paper which was published on behalf of marketing agencies?

Richard Davidsons PNAS paper from 2004:

Long-term meditators self-induce high-amplitude gamma synchrony during mental practice

https://www.pnas.org/doi/full/10.1073/pnas.0407401101

In following interview with Richard Davidson and Daniel Goleman on YouTube about the book “Altered Traits”:

Richard Davidson mentions a graph which shows an increase in publications about meditation after the year 2004:

But Daniel Goleman asks, if this increase was not caused by his book «Emotional Intelligence which was published in 1995»?. Or are both of those wrong? Where is the scientific proof of a correlation between this PNAS paper from 2004, Daniel Golemans book and an increase in publications about meditation?

And where are the scientific studies which are independent of Richard Davidson which confirm his findings? Richard Davdison mentions one more studies which has been done with Buddhist monks about mediation which confirms his findings. But is this not very little 20 years after his PNAS paper has been published?

If Richard Davidsons PNAS paper from 2004 was published on behalf of marketing agencies, does this marketing stragedy not find an end with the marketing agency of Swiss Meditation Teacher Diego Hangartner which released the «The Art of Meditation» 1 – 6 with Diego in the year 2021?

This marketing stragedy finds an end at least to attract critcal scientists such as Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org. But for all others, if you want to see more of «The Art of Meditation» videos by Diego Hangartner, click the next video to see it on YouTube (video 1 – 6). But critical scientist Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org will in any case avoid reading popular scientific books as much as possible, as well as watching YouTube videos about meditation. And he will get his information about this topic here as much as possible:

Where he got his scientific information previously, before he saw a poster hanging in front of the Chemistry | Biology | Pharmacy Information Center at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich Honggerberg, where most probably Pharmacologist and Swiss Meditation Teacher Diego Hangartner has hung up a poster about Matthieu Ricard giving a talk in Zurich, which stroke Peter Gamma and changed his life.
