Was the chip shortage crisis (2020–2023) already the bankruptcy of Raspberry for private users as far as trust is concerned?

  • The 2020–2023 global chip shortage was a worldwide chip shortage affecting more than 169 industries:

  • But if we compare for instance Raspberry Pi’s with Ubuntu to LattePanda’s with Ubuntu, than we can see, that Rasbperry Pi with Ubuntu is much superior than LattePandas with Ubuntu:
  • The development of Rasbperry Pi lasted much longer than that of the LattePandas.
  • Raspberry Pi development started at the University of cambridge, but where started LattePanda?
  • Raspberry Pi’s are still much more interesting for us personally than LattePandas.

But still our trust is gone in Pi’s. Since trust is like a mirror. You can repair it but you can still see the crack:
