These are three products which contain the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments. As we have seen in the past, it is risky to write papers with products such as the Dreem2 headband. After a validation paper about it came onto the market, it was pulled from the market for private users. First it was sold for private users for 500 USD, but after a validation paper has been published, it only was offered to professional users for 1400 USD, until Dreem went bancrupt.
As the example of the Dreem 2 headband has shown, which is an EEG device as well, it is risky to rely only on one single product, since there are scalpers out there who want to profit from it if someone increases the value of products.
So therefore it is better not to rely on a single product, but to choose several instead which can be chosen alternatively is if one of these products become unreliable.
