Why is the Muse Headband better for EEG life-stream than OpenBCI?

For OpenBCI we have OpenBCI GUI, but if we want for instance respiration rate in real time:

Matlab is better. We have in Matlab also ECG toolbox. Then we have EEGLAB. But EEGLAB is not a real-time software, but only bcilab. But who uses bcilab exept for Christian Andreas Kothe?

A real-time EEG solution we have from EEGLAB developer Arnaud Delorme, and that is NeuroFeedbackLab which is most brobably based on BCILAB:

  • So we approaching a Mind Monitor based on OpenBCI in real-time
  • We can start with the Muse Headband and Neurofeedbacklab
  • We have respiration rate in real-time
  • ecg heart rate in real time
  • and EEG data in real time from the Muse headband.
  • And if we have understood NeuroFeedbackLab for the Muse headband, we can use it also with OpenBCI.
