Peter H. Charton, a meditator who mediated with the respiration rate estimation Matlab toolbox & tested it’s effeciency with a brain scanner?

  • Respiration rate is a key parameterfor meditators.
  • Physiological ranges are between 12 – 20 breath per minutes.
  • This is what we learned from respiration rate estimation Matlab toolbox developer
    Peter H. Charton.

There is a respiration rate estimation Matlab toolbox available from Peter H. Charlton:

https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/55289-respiratory-rate-estimation

And if we look at Peter H. Charlton Respiratory Rate Estimation project:

http://peterhcharlton.github.io/RRest/

  • We can see that him and his colleagues invested a lot of time in it.
  • But we currently know only that Respiratory Rate Estimation is suitable to publish (paid promotional papers ?) with the iWorx TA 220 in Sensors Basel, and not in higher quality journals.
  • We therefore suppose that for instance Peter H. Charton did a meditation study with his respiration rate estimation Matlab toolbox & tested it’s efficiency with a brain scanner.
  • And the result of it, if your budget allows to buy a brain scanner, since it is more accurate.
  • The respiration rate estimation Matlab toolbox, is only accurate enough to write papers for Sensors Basel, but as far as we know not for clinical applications in the hospital.

But Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org will not buy a brain scanner for his home all the same, but will look for better devices to track respiration here:
