To find out how much money can be made out of offering meditation courses to the rich bankers of the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich? To make money out of meditators is very difficult. One of the view who could do this was Osho, who called himself a meditation teacher for rich people. This is eventually the last chance for Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich. But the courses for the rich bankers at the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich seem not to be a big success to this date.
Ajahn Amaro, Theravāda Buddhist monk, teacher, and abbot of the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery at South East England has no money since 1978, and this is because these are the rules of the Buddha, which say that monks are not allowed to have money. And Ajahn Amaro says he never suffered from not having something to eat since then:
And Peter Gamma, who has read Richard Davidsons PNAS paper from 2004:
https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0407401101
became a meditation researcher trough this paper. But unfortunately, Peter Gamma and the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) has no grant for research on mediation since 2004, and he does not know if he ever will have one.
