In the OpenBCI made in China product documentation we sah this picture:
It shows animal experiments which where done with OpenBCI. Who has such an equipement? Peter Gamma, Physiologist and Director of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland:
knows from a source he doesn’t want to name that a group at the Brain Research Institute of the University of Zurich in Switzerland under the direction of Marie-Claude Hepp-Reymond had a similar equipement to make tests with animals.

Marie-Claude Hepp-Reymond did also reserach in the Institute of Neuroinformatics of the University Zurich:
https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Marie-Claude-Hepp-Reymond
Marie-Claude Hepp-Reymond had a similar equipment to do experiments with animals as shown in the above picture of the OpenBCI researchers from China. We therefore suppose that the OpenBCI made in China delelopers are developers at the level of the Brain Research Institute of the University of Zurich as well as the Institute of Neuroinformatics of the University Zurich. But the OpenBCI researchers from China seem to have given up their research on animals with OpenBCI, since we did not find any papers which they have published with it.
So Peter Gamma from the MRIS is happy about to know that the OpenBCI made in China developers have similar equipement than the Brain Research Institute of the University of Zurich and the Institute of Neuroinformatics of the University Zurich in Switzerland to do animal tests with OpenBCI. And we suppose that they are at the level of these institutions.
Irene Vigué-Guix, freelance research neuroscientist with a Ph.D. in ICT, MSc in Brain and Cognition, and BS in Biomedical Engineering & multidisciplinary artist blurring the lines between (neuro)science, tech, art, and beyond is a freelance research neuroscientist:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/irenevigueguix/?locale=en_US
And is not at the level of these Swiss Institutes. Irene Vigué-Guix uses products from www.openbci.com. Irene Vigué-Guix wrote on her WordPress site:
«Joel and Conor, the co-founders of OpenBCI, gave me the opportunity to spend a few weeks in the OpenBCI HQ with plenty of liberty to use whatever that is in their lab located in Brooklyn, New York City. Once I knew, as I asked to myself “Irene, for the first time in your life you have the opportunity to use an EEG headset and do with it whatever you want. So, the question here is: what do you wanna do with it?”.
So Peter Gamma from the MRIS definitely knows that Irene Vigué-Guix is not at the level of these Swiss Institutes, but the OpenBCI made in China developers, which is good news.
But all the same, scientitic adviser Peter Gamma of the MRIS www.petergamma.org advices to all OpenBCI made in China users, if they use it for animal testing or not the following:
To keep silent if you use products from OpenBCI made in China. And to not make any links to OpenBCI made in China products, and to not pick them up in shops, etc. and tread them as if they where not there and do not exist.
