PiEEG is the successor of HackEEG, and has evolved since then.
But who is the responsible product manager for PiEEG – who is he, what is wrong with him?
PiEEG was announced on 2nd Mar 2023 by Ildar Rakhmatulin at Raspberry Pi:

- But then it started only selling on November 2023 the PiEE 4 channels.
- And PiEE 8 channels was announced to start selling in April 2024:

Prices of PiEEG where:
- PiEEG board with 4 channels $325
- $8 US Shipping / $18 Worldwide

But now it is no longer available, why?
- Why only selling PiEEG 4 channels about 9 month after it’s development has been finished?
- And why only selling PiEEG channels about 1 year and 3 month after it’s development has been finished?
- Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org supposes that the chief here is a marketing software who decides this and is fool.
- Is PiEEG not better than OpenBCI Cyton?
- Does it not cost less, and is it not better?
- Why then release it so late?
- Is the reason to be able to make money out of OpenBCI Cyton from www.openbci.com as long as possible?
- And all of this calculated by a marketing software?
- After PiEEG started selling in November 2023, Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org wrote on his blog about this issues of PiEEG:

- Then suddenly, PiEEG was not available anymore.
- But Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org, does not know of any other users who showed interest in PiEEG than him, and wrote about the issues of PiEEG. And then it was not available anymore.
- But is Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org not one of the most active reviewers of low-cost high-quality EEG products?
- And does Peter Gamma attract new users, especially students, but also professionals?
- Peter experienced before, that products he critizised where pullet from the market.
- But Peter also experienced, that products he critizised from www.openbci.com where suddenly available cheaper from China in eBay and Aliexpress.
- Peter currently knows of no one exept for him, who is interested in buying on the long term low-cost high-quality EEG devices.
- But do not a majority of EEG users understand Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org?
- So if PiEEG has been pulled from the market, will it appear again in an updated version?
- Will there be an updated version of PiEEG with OpenBCI GUI connected to it?
- But will this new release only happen in one year from now?
- And will PiEEG again sell only a view pieces?
- Was PiEEG not a complete failure?
- And was not also OpenBCI made in China not a big success to this date? And the reason for this where issues with the OpenBCI WIFI shield, and issues with the connectivity between OpenBCI Cyton and the WIFI shield
- History has shown that Chinese OpenBCI developers can develop anything www.openbci.com can develop for a cheaper price, can react on user wishes, and resolve isses.
- Chinese developer can easily develop a PiEEG made in China, offer it cheaper than the PiEEG from USA, and are also able to deliver it faster, more reliable and better.
- OpenBCI made in China was not a big of a success. But PiEEG made in China could change this.
Is it not time for a PiEEG from China who is successful and can really compete with www.openbci.com?
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org is curious what will happen to PiEEG from USA and PiEEG from China. But Peter prefers a PiEEG from China which is sold on eBay and Aliexpress for Swiss customers.
