Neuroscientist Christof Koch was looking for God as a booming voice from the sky which he did not find there:
But Kunalini Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan said, «If you do not find God within yourself, you do not find God at all.» Tibetan Lhama Soygal Rhinpoche says in the following video:
«We are scattered everywhere, but nobody is at home. Only the foolish are looking for happiness outside of themselves.» A very famous traditional example is, «keeping the elephant at home, but looking for it’s foot prints in the forrest.» You are not looking for the foot prints, you are looking for the elephant. But then you keep the elephant at home, but look for it’s foot prints to find the elephant. But the elephant is always with you anyway.
In Isaiah 59:19-21 it says: «God is always with you».
Isaiah was the first major scriptural prophet of the Hebrew Bible. He lived between 740 and 701 BC and anounced that the judgment of God will arrive.
The great master Padma Sambhaava who brought the teachings of the Buddha to Tibet said: «Don’t investigate the root of things, investigate the root of the mind. Once the mind’s root has been found, you know one thing, yet all is thereby freed. But if the root of the mind you fail to find, you will know everything, but you will not understand anything.»
