And not only for the rich. Why does Rob ter Horst not test 100 physiological parameters on low-cost devices? Rob tested 100 smartwatches. We estimate that we evaluated about 100 physiological sensor devices in the low cost segment, but we did not test those. Why does Rob no join us and tests these 100 devices and their physiological parameters? Who pays Rob? Would this not an interesting topic for his financier, too? We suppose that only a view the most accurate devices would remain for scientist which are interesting. And if Rob would test those and have good data, the step to a good validation paper would not be too far. Rob ter Horst is qualified for this. Isn’t it a waste that such a highly qualified PhD. tests 100 smartwatches such as the Oura ring but still the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) who has no grant for research has currently no devices which we think it is worth buying for us personally for our application, or recommend such devices due to the lack of validation papers. We have mentioned a view which have validation papers but we do not use these devices yet. We will do this as soon as possible. But this takes time. For instance a good software platform which is easy to use for physiologists like us is missing for us personally.
If Rob or a Rob ter Horst II join us, we had a setup which could be validated for clinical and research application which is also affordable for researcher without grant for research and we would have a global community of meditators who can track their physiological parameters during meditation and launch a long-therm project to continue the project the Dalai Lama the 14. has initiated with Richard Davidson from bottom to top.
