How to to this:
- connect the Raspberry Pi treadmill speed sensor to Home Assistant or Python:
- Make some measurement and publish the results as fellnr did:

Questions to answer:
- Does the treadmill show speed variations if we run or walk at a fixed speed?
- Does the treadmill show distance variations at a fixed speed?
- How reliable is the treadmill, does it run smoothly or does it show speed variations which cannot be controlled?
- Is the treadmill well built enough so that we can get data from it how fast we moved on it and how far and analyse it with a data analysis software?
- Is it eventually worth do add a treadmill motor by ourselves to better control it? Medical grade treadmills of woodway have such motors:
- The treadmills shown above are curved but can we not add a treadmill motor by ourselves if we are skilled enough?
